This palace takes its name from the street Rugapiana that means flat street. Rugapiana is the only flat street that can be found in the historical centre of Cortona. Today Rugapiana is the main street, closed to traffic of this Etruscan town that offers tourists the chance to go back into the past centuries.

In the middle of the main road an ancient palace has been restored into apartments with a kitchenette and rooms with a bathroom. Every apartment maintains the ancient local stone wall, fired brick floors and wooden beamed floors, respecting the architecture of the past. Every apartment is furnished with antique pieces of furniture. The structure offers: two-room apartment(1 double room, 1 bathroom, 1 kitcken); three-room apartment (2 double rooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 kitcken); double bedrooms with bathroom; top floor attic (1 double room, 1 bathroom, 1 kitcken).
